In recent years the practice has made a significant number of alterations to improve access for people with disabilities and will continue to do so.
The surgery is equipped for disabled patients with a fully equipped consulting room on the ground floor. However, due to the physical restrictions of the property itself, the Practice cannot achieve full DDA compliance although we continue to improve the premises as far as practicably possible. We are currently preparing an application for planning permission to construct a ramp outside the main entrance. Whether or not we obtain such approval, our staff can provide help as necessary.
Patients who need assistance to enter the building are asked to ring the doorbell by the main entrance to alert our staff to your presence. The ground floor of the surgery is wheelchair accessible with a fully equipped consulting room.
